Accessibility statement
I want this site to work for everyone, whatever device or assistive technology you use. This page explains what I've done, where it falls short and how to tell me about a problem.
The standard
I build to modern accessibility standards, and this site aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What I've done
- Pages are built with proper headings and landmarks, so screen readers can move around them
- Everything works with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline
- Text is sized to scale when you zoom, up to 200%
- The mountain animations stand still if your device is set to reduce motion
- Form fields have labels, and errors say what went wrong
Known limitations
- The mountain graphics are decorative and carry no information, so they have no text description
- The security check on the contact form is run by Cloudflare. If it gives you trouble, email me instead
Found a problem?
If anything on this site is hard to use, email me and tell me what happened. I'll endeavour to reply as soon as possible and fix it as quickly as I can.
